WHAT’S A HAND PIE?

Empanadas, turnovers, samosas, calzones, pasty’s. Different names. Different places. Same idea: delicious pastry packed with incredible flavor. No matter what you call them, everyone loves a handheld meal.

We use our love of food from all over the globe and the incredible local ingredients St. Louis has to offer to inspire our hand pie flavors. You’ll love our classic, comforting flavors like Chicken Pot Pie and STL Mac & Cheese. Or try something a little different with Vietnamese Pork Banh Mi or Greek Spanakopita. Whether you choose a flavor you already dig or want to fall in love with something brand new, we promise all our addictive hand pies will be best buds with your taste buds!

ABOUT US

Everything is made by hand, by us. Us being Megan Rice (AKA Mister) & Preston Blaine (AKA Mister’s Mister). Frodo isn’t allowed in the kitchen. Brought together by stand-up comedy and our love of food, we’ve been cooking and baking together since we started dating over 9 years ago. Correction, he did the cooking and I did the baking. It was when we started putting his delicious savory meals into my addictive, buttery pie crust that BLAM: Mister’s Hand Pies was born!

Wanting to get serious about our future, both personally and professionally, we decided to escape from L.A. and head to Preston’s hometown of St. Louis, MO in 2019.

There’s no place we’d rather be building our lives and our business than St. Louis City.

LOCALS ONLY

We want our customers to come from all over the place, but when it comes to what goes into our hand pies, it’s locals only. Our ingredients are sourced as locally as we can get ‘em. Community is something very close to our hearts. When we support each other we support ourselves! Do yourself a favor and check out some of the amazing local producers we partner with.

Dierks Grass Fed Beef, Alpacas of Troy (Brats of The World), Such and Such Farm, Biver Farms, Howie Farms, Dang Good Produce, Good Life Growing, Old North Provisions, Clean Plate Pantry, Friedel Family Farms and hopefully many more to come!
